Wales win historic victory

Wales claimed a historic win against South Africa to end their hoodoo against big Southern Hemisphere sides.

The men in red won 12-6 against the Springboks in a fierce victory. Leigh Halfpenny scored four penalties to help them to the win.

The match was squared at 3-3 at half-time, and it reached 6-6 before Halfpenny kicked two more penalties to reach 12-6.

Wales defended that score line fiercely for 25 minutes before the final whistle went and the Millennium Stadium erupted in happiness.

England lose to All Blacks but Wales thrash Pumas

England couldn’t repeat their amazing win last year against New Zealand on their third weekend of Autumn Internationals.

Despite taking the lead once, it lasted only two minutes, England were beaten by the best team in rugby 22-30.

Wales had better luck. Mike Phillips starred as they thrashed Argentina. Phillips, George North, Toby Faletau and Ken Owens scored tries in a 40-6 victory.

Ireland lost to Australia. The Wallabies were always in the lead and eventually won 15-32.
