Premier League round up: Aguero stars, Chelsea lose and Arsenal beat United

There were many talking points in a busy weekend in the Premier League. Sergio Aguero propelled title favourites Man City to a 6-1 win, scoring five goals against Newcastle. Chelsea lost their fourth match of the eight so far played, losing to Southampton 3-1, and Arsenal thrashed Man United 3-0 in a surprising game at the Emirates. Premier League round-up: West Ham shock Arsenal

The Premier League returned this weekend, with West Ham’s 2-0 victory over title hopefuls Arsenal the major talking point. Other significant results included Man City’s comprehensive 3-0 win against West Brom and reigning champions Chelsea surviving a scare to draw 2-2 with Welsh side Swansea.

It’s that time again, as football fans up and down the country start to eagerly anticipate the beginning of the new football season. My Premier League predictions: 2014-15

Can Manchester City retain their title?

Welcome to my annual predictions post. This is where I will tell you where I think each Premier League team will finish, and for the first time I will give a paragraph with my thoughts on each team.

While last time pre-season was about new managers, this time it is the players who have come to the league and those that have left.

The league’s top scorer, Luis Suarez, has left Liverpool to go to Spanish giants Barcelona for £75 million. Star players such as Alexis Sanchez at Arsenal, Diego Costa for Chelsea and Luke Shaw to Manchester United are just some of the star names playing for their teams this season.
